Individual Custom Massage
Custom massage therapy incorporates a variety of modalities, or types of massage techniques, to ensure the best-individualized treatment to each guest. Using different combinations of massage, allows your Massage Therapist to explore which modality is most beneficial for your health and wellness.
Couples Custom Massage
A couples custom massage is a massage for two people that takes place in the same room. It lets you enjoy the benefits of a regular massage in the company of a loved one . There are two separate massage tables side by side with separate massage therapists. Experiencing a massage with someone you know, can provide a level of comfort and security. Each individual still gets a custom massage to reach their personal goals and receives unique treatments that are specific to them.
Couples massage can have significant impact on strengthening the bond between partners. They can be the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, a birthday, anniversary, or just because. You can also get this massage with a good friend or family member. Best friends can let all their stresses slip away, and parent and child can relax together in a safe and calm environment.

Hot or Cold Stone Massage
Hot or cooled stone massage involves the placement of a number of either heated or cooled stones to the body for the purpose of pain relief, deep relaxation and therapeutic muscle treatments. During a stone massage, the techniques of a regular massage are applied. However, the therapist also works with hot or cooled stones placing them on specific areas of the body. The stones are smooth and flat and usually made of the volcanic basalt rock. These particular stones are chosen because they retain heat well and contain great energetic and healing properties. Some massage therapists hold the stones in their hands and use them to massage with. This allows the therapist to get deeper into the muscles without more pressure, helping their client to relax yet further.
Occasionally, cold stones can be used on the face or after the hot stones have been applied. Cold temperature helps to calm inflamed blood vessels, relieve pain of over worked muscles and soothe hot skin. Applying cooled stones can also be a great way to soothe allergy and sinus issues as well as enhancing facial treatments.
Prenatal Massage
A prenatal massage is a full body massage that is similar to a regular custom massage except for a few modifications with body positioning and pressure applied that can ensure the safety and comfort for both mother and baby. You will lay on your side with pillows, wedges, or a full body pillow for support while Keeping you draped in a way that maximizes modesty, comfort and relaxation.
Prenatal massage is specifically designed for pregnant bodies throughout all of the stages of pregnancy. It aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. Getting a prenatal massage can also put you in a more relaxed state of mind to help you cope with all the big changes that are going on in your life.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is designed to help athletes before, during and after training. It is useful for anyone who exercises to increase flexibility and decrease recovery time after activity. This kind of treatment can help heighten an athlete’s abilities and provide them with the physical support necessary to pursue and achieve their goals. Muscle and joint attention through sports massage therapy can greatly assist athletic performance.
When muscles are regularly stretched and massaged an athlete decreases their risk of injury providing the support that the body needs to perform safely and confidently.
Gua Sha is known to stimulate circulation, produce collagen, decrease puffiness and inflammation, tighten skin, brighten complexion, release tension and shape facial muscles.
It is a traditional Chinese healing method in which a trained professional uses a smooth-edged tool to stroke your skin while they press on it. This motion raises small, red, rash-like dots that show under your skin called petechiae.
People use Gua Sha to treat chronic pain all over their body. They often do it alongside other complementary treatments like massage and heat therapy. At first, they'll gently use the tool on your skin. Gradually, add more pressure to the strokes. They’ll only apply as much pressure as you’re comfortable with.
This process is believed to help blood flow and create a “lifting” effect on your skin, which some say may help lessen toxins in your body and promote healing.
Gua Sha
Cupping is an ancient form of alternative treatment in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, it dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures.
Cupping creates a vacuum causing your skin to rise and redden as your blood vessels expand. The cup is generally left in place for short time.
Versions of cupping can use a hand pump, electric pump or fire to create the vacuum inside the cup. Therapists use the cups by placing them on the body and then moving them from place to place on your skin for a massage-like effect.
Cupping
Myofascial release is focuses on pain that comes from myofascial tissues — the tough coverings that wrap, connect and support muscles.
Myofascial pain may differ from other types of pain because it often originates in the stiff areas within the myofascial tissue. The source of the pain is often hard to pinpoint because the tightness may not always be near what feels like the source of pain.
During myofascial release therapy, the therapist applies pressure by hand to find myofascial areas that feel stiff instead of elastic and movable. These stiff areas, or are thought to limit muscle and joint movements, which can play a part in widespread muscle pain. Using manual pressure, your therapist will massage and stretch the area, sometimes holding that point for a few minutes. Your therapist may repeat this process a few times on each area until they feel a full release. This massage and stretching can help loosen muscles and joints which may ease your pain and increase ROM.
Myofascial Release
Lymph drainage massage has become a popular form of massage due to its many potential health benefits. This specialized approach focuses on the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system.
This treatment can last between 15 to 60 minutes. The massage therapist will follow a particular sequence, using a series of massage techniques, including stretching, compressing, gliding, and cupping motions.
Light rhythmic movements stimulate the lymphatic system without pressing hard on the vessel. They make the lymph fluid move easily through the nodes and tissues, making sure the fluid doesn't get trapped anywhere. It can be a very effective way of reducing swelling caused by fluid build up and also promotes a healthy immune system.
Lymphatic Massage
Deep tissue massage therapy isn't just a Swedish massage with deeper strokes or harder pressure. Deep tissue massages use firm pressure and slow strokes to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia, which is the connective tissue that surrounds your muscles. It is used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle adhesions and “knots”. These knots can inhibit our circulation and cause pain and inflammation.
When the massage begins, your massage therapist usually starts with lighter pressure to warm up your muscles and then works into deeper pressure targeting the deeper muscles of the body.
This technique is used to treat musculoskeletal issues by applying sustained pressure with slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
PNF
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a stretching technique utilized to improve muscle elasticity and has been shown to have a positive effect on active and passive range of motions. Using the bodies own natural reflexes PNF stretching may be the most effective stretching technique for increasing range of motion.
Trigger Point Therapy
A trigger point is a small, tight area a band of muscle fibers and fascia, which restricts blood flow to the area and causes pain. Trigger points become so tight, in fact, that they can be felt underneath the skin. They are typically very sensitive, causing a severe amount of pain that seems out of proportion to the pressure being applied.
One unique feature of trigger points is that this pain is not always felt at the location of the trigger point, but instead it can be felt in a different area of the body, which is called referred pain.
Trigger Point Therapy works to release a trigger point by pushing fresh blood in and flushing waste material out. This helps relieve some of your pain by bringing more oxygen into the area and encouraging the muscles to release.
Thai Massage
Thai massage, also known as Thai yoga massage or assisted yoga, doesn't use oils and rubbing or kneading like traditional massage. Instead, your therapist helps you perform passive stretches and yoga poses to promote well-being. Body Parts treated can include back, gluteal muscles, legs (front and back), arms, head, and shoulders. The therapist will apply the massage with the hands and feet. No oils or creams are used, pressure is applied all along the energy lines in the body. Passive stretching will be incorporated. Thai massage aims to relieve joint and muscle pain through a series of stretches using your entire body. Thai massage becomes popular worldwide as a holistic health tradition that combines Ayurveda, Yoga, and Chinese medicine.
An Ayurvedic massage takes a more holistic approach to relieving emotional and physical stress. It combines the 5,000-year-old Indian principles of Ayurveda—sometimes translated as “the science of life,” Ayurveda lays out a complete mind-body prescription for healthy living that includes a dietetic regimen and a range of herbal healing techniques. Using the principles of Ayurveda and pressure points, this massage is designed to heal the body and create a balance between mind, body, and spirit. The massage is done with medicated herbal oils that have various health benefits. Through the massage procedure, the oils can enter through the skin, reaching the tissues to help the repair process. Apart from that, Ayurvedic oils can have numerous health benefits. The massage session can last up to 60 minutes depending on the type of treatment. For the massage, the client will lie on the massage table and the practitioner will pour warm herbal oil on their body while massaging in a series of movements.
